10 Wrestlers Who Pooped Their Pants In The Ring

CM Punk is very forthcoming about his own in-ring accident. At the time, December 2013, he quite cheerfully revealed that he had "just sh*t his britches on SmackDown".

Tonally at odds with the rest of the article, this is less gross-out ha-ha, more grim indictment of the cumulative effects of WWE's schedule and alleged medical negligence ha-ha. Punk "sh*t his britches on SmackDown" because, pumped to the gills with antibiotics, he didn't have enough good bacteria to fight the good fight.

The accident transpired with Punk subdued in a Dean Ambrose chinlock - can you imagine the stench, were Punk to actually return and wrestle Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin in 2019? - and evidence of it was helpfully collated by Maffew on Twitter recently. Punk left behind two brown streaks on the canvas, in a quite revolting visual metaphor of WWE's quite revolting affront to worker's rights.

Highlighted as part of John Oliver's deep-dive into the independent contractor controversy, Punk, as told to Colt Cabana on his incendiary Art Of Wrestling appearance, actually saw the humour in it at the time. "I was laughing, Vince was laughing," he said.

The last time Punk and Vince bonded, quite fittingly, was over faecal matter.
