10 Wrestlers Who Should Hold The AEW All-Atlantic Title
6. Miro
When “The Best Man” reinvented himself as “The Redeemer” and took hold of the TNT Title, he became one of the most entertaining performers in all of AEW. That title run was arguably the highlight of the former Rusev’s wrestling career. The trouble is, after a spell away to recuperate and film a TV show, Tony Khan doesn’t seem to have much idea what to do next with Miro.
Unless you want to pull the trigger and make him a World Champion, a destroyer like Miro struggles on weekly television. Absorb too many loses and he’ll start to lose his monster aura.
In a way, Miro would be better suited to an earlier era, when he could have monstered a territory for a while before getting vanquished by the local babyface hero and moving on to the next promotion.
Perhaps the next best thing is to give Miro the All-Atlantic Title and send him overseas as AEW’s monster on loan. He can briefly show up and cause carnage in any number of promotions. What’s not to love about “The Redeemer” and his surgically repaired neck rampaging across the world, wrecking guys?
