10 Wrestlers Who Should Return To WWE NXT

1. Shinsuke Nakamura

Since arriving on the main roster, Shinsuke Nakamura has had a run full of ups and downs.

In his first year on the main roster, The King of Strong Style defeated John Cena clean, won the Royal Rumble, and competed at WrestleMania for the WWE Championship. On the other hand, he was a part of a downright awful storyline against Jinder Mahal, turned his WrestleMania dream match with AJ Styles into a feud based on dick-kicking, and an absentee seven-month reign as Intercontinental Champion.

This is a stark contrast to Shinsuke's time on the black and gold brand. Back in Shinsuke's time in NXT, he was one of the best acts in the whole company. A rockstar in every sense of the word, the New Japan import was a huge deal from the moment he was announced as making his debut against Sami Zayn. Every entrance, match and storyline was near perfection in Nakamura's one year run for the black and gold brand. Quite simply, everything Shinsuke did in NXT felt special, a far cry from where The King of Strong Style sees himself today.

Of everyone on the main roster currently, no wrestler would benefit the most by returning to NXT more than the man who dominated Wednesday nights for a year.
