10 Wrestlers Who Should Return To WWE NXT

2. Shayna Baszler

Arguably no woman has suffered from a call up to the main roster more than Shayna Baszler.

On NXT, Shayna Baszler was one of the most dominant forces in professional wrestling. She ran roughshod through nearly every woman who entered NXT for over two years. A bully who backed up her tough talk in the ring, Baszler was a finalist in the Mae Young Classic before becoming a two-time and longest-reigning NXT Women's Champion.

Things went downhill the moment Baszler arrived on Raw, biting the neck of Becky Lynch in a strange moment. Since then she lost her WrestleMania debut, was in a forced tag team with Nia Jax, and now has spent much of 2022 directionless on SmackDown. Now a part of a thrown together tag team with Natalya, The Queen of Spades deserves much better after The Show of Shows.

Currently, NXT's women's division is focused on reenacting the movie Mean Girls, taking naps, filming TikToks, making out with their significant others, hosting a talk show and making their daddy happy. With a roster based around sex appeal and the latest trends, there is no better woman to change things up than Shayna Baszler.
