10 Wrestlers Who Will Be WWE Champion By The Next US Election

5. Pete Dunne

Pete Dunne
WWE

Since bursting onto the scene in WWE back in 2017 during the UK Championship Tournament, Pete Dunne has shown himself to be one of the brightest prospects in all of NXT.

In the last several years, Dunne has grabbed every opportunity he has had thrown at him. His matches in the UK Tournament were excellent, his match against Tyler Bate at TakeOver: Chicago was probably the best match WWE put on that year, and he has continued to put on excellent performances in both singles and multi-man scenarios.

Not only has Dunne been one of WWE's most consistent workers in recent years, but he also has the showmanship to back it up. His unique look and swagger give him a Conor McGregor like precense and his time with Matt Riddle in The BroserWeights only served to endear himself to the fans even more. Furthermore, he can play the role of a viscous heel and an thrilling face equally well, allowing him to keep his character fresh at all times.

While we may be a couple years off, don't be too surprised to see Pete Dunne occupying the world title scene over the next several years.
