John Cena is many things, but All Elite is not one of them - and it’s a sound assumption that it never will be. WWE’s leading star for 10 years straight, Cena worked tirelessly on all fronts for the promotion: in the ring, on the microphone, promotional events, charity work, merchandising, house shows, you name it and he did it (bar being universally cheered in arenas, of course).

Cena’s backbreaking worth ethic was a testament to both his ambition and dedication to the promotion that had given him the big push. With injuries racking up and calls from Hollywood coming in, Cena backed away from a full time schedule in 2016, and has reduced his dates drastically in the years since. On the few occasions where he does put the wrist bands back on, it’s for WWE (normally to be completely obliterated by the promotion’s spookier characters lately).

Despite some implied intrigue in wrestling Kenny Omega on his social media pages over the years, Cena has expressed zero interest in working with the new promotion on the block.

Given his pride for and loyalty to WWE, and an increasingly minimal presence in the wrestling world, don’t expect to see Cena in a ring at all for a while, yet alone one not owned by Vince McMahon.

John Cunningham hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
