10 Wrestlers WWE Gave Up On In 2020

4. Liv Morgan

Paul Heyman apparently wrote Liv Morgan into the Rusev, Lana and Bobby Lashley love triangle late last year just to get eyes on the returning blonde. That was it. The then-Raw chief didn't have a plan for her involvement beyond that, which is precisely why that love interest story beat with a certain 'Ravishing Russian' went nowhere.

OK then.

WWE's grand plan for Liv all along seems to have been a Riott Squad reunion with Ruby. Y'know, because that group worked so well the first time and everyone on social media was clamouring for a comeback sans Sarah Logan. Right, enough of the sarky comments. The sad truth is that Morgan has been mishandled.

She was the talk of Twitter for a while there, but WWE failed to match that interest with a substantial role on the roster. Instead, Liv has been reduced to playing tag-team foil for others the company do want to push, and it sucks to see.
