10 Wrestlers WWE Have Ruined Without Fans

8. Shayna Baszler

What to do about a Shayna Baszler problem WWE were utterly inept to even cause?

She's had her legs controlled by voodoo, been on the run from a doll and become the designated jobber of her useless tag team, and most of this has happened in the last two months.

When the pandemic started, she was the heavy favourite to dethrone a Becky Lynch character that appeared to be believing her own hype a little bit too much. But WrestleMania 36 proved the Champion right - she'd done her homework and defeated Baszler the exact same way Ember Moon and Kairi Sane had during her NXT peak.

Lynch's departure shortly afterwards resulted in their angle being dropped cold, and it's to WWE's profound shame that Baszler's not been heated back up since. Since the audiences exited, 'The Queen Of Spades' has only been near gold as one half of a tag team she visibly hates being a part of, and any lingering threat her submission game once had has been nullified too often to register as a legitimate danger.

Baszler/Lynch 2 was still in the dream match sphere when 'The Man' first went on maternity. It's a living nightmare for Shayna's fans that she now feels no more like Becky's first rung on a short ladder back to the top.
