10 Wrestling Duos Who Shared The Most Bizarre Chemistry

6. Shawn Michaels & Ahmed Johnson

The short-lived 'People's Posse' - honestly, it's a wonder WWE's COO hasn't changed his name to Vincent Vennedy VcMahon, the awld lunatic loves alliteration so much - was comprised of Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson and the Ultimate Warrior, originally. Sid replaced Warrior when the noted homophobe and general childhood traitor up and decided to no-show house shows over a pay dispute.

Michaels was a lesser evil in 1996, but, perhaps through sheer terror at the sight of his new, belligerent brick sh*thouse pal, he did much to get him over (in an onscreen capacity, anyway). The chemistry echoed that which Shawn shared with Diesel, but Ahmed was his own, distinctly menacing muscle. He didn't do much beyond hover over Shawn's shoulder with a barely-perceptible grin that said much with little.

It said "Mess with us and we will f*ck you up".

The resulting six-man tag, at In Your House: International Incident, was very good (if slightly overlong), and was the high point of Johnson's career; he levelled up to the field of stars, benefitting massively in the powerhouse destroyer role through Shawn's flailing selling.
