It's unlikely there was a soul in the building who wasn't impressed with Shinsuke Nakamura's debut WWE match at NXT TakeOver: Dallas. Facing Sami Zayn, the self-assured Japanese grappler looked entirely comfortable in his new environment. It didn't hurt that fans were enthusiastic towards his appearance, cheering wildly when he won.

Placing Nakamura in the NXT developmental system is a masterstroke, because it will allow him time to adapt to the WWE way of doing things. Following his debut bout, Shinsuke bumped into someone who will be very important for his career going forward. That man was none other than Vince McMahon, WWE's head honcho.

On the Twitter account of Japanese wrestling blogger Enuhito, it was revealed that Nakamura shared a short conversation with McMahon immediately following his match. The wrestler couldn't recall much of what was said, but did state that Vince seemed very pleased with his performance, smiled a lot, and shook his hand.

The fact the boss went out of his way to do this is very encouraging for Nakamura's WWE future.
