3. Paul Heyman Rarely Slept Aside From Car Journeys With An ECW Original

Paul Heyman must love his WWE lifestyle nowadays. Due to the fact he only has a TV role managing Brock Lesnar, Heyman isn't really required for most non-televised events, working the same limited date structure as his on screen client. It wasn't always that straightforward for Heyman, once dubbed the 'Mad Scientist' of ECW.

In the original ECW, the buck stopped with Paul, meaning he was pretty much always on call. One of his closest lieutenants was Tommy Dreamer, and the pair would ride together from town to town and show to show. Only in those moments could Heyman grab some peace.

Talking to Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard, Dreamer revealed that it wasn't uncommon for Heyman to only sleep during these car journeys. Burnout was frequent, but he was so invested in ensuring that ECW could stay afloat that he had no option.

Even whilst in the passenger seat of Dreamer's car, Heyman often stayed awake to discuss upcoming shows, storyline ideas or new characters. He was always thinking, but would routinely eventually pass out as Dreamer handled the driving.
