Gail Kim announced last month that she would be retiring from active wrestling by the end of the year. Appearing on Sean Waltman's X-Pac 1, 2, 360 podcast this week, Kim said she had few regrets from a career spanning 17 years. Perhaps one of them is that she didn't get to work on the recent GLOW series.

A fan of the Netflix show, Gail said that she had actually been in touch with the show's producers to see if she could get a job training the actresses to take bumps, run the ropes and generally wrestle. In the end, it was actually Chavo Guerrero who nabbed the gig and there was no role for Kim at all.

Gail claims she wasn't interested in an on-screen cameo, but instead wanted to work with the girls behind the scenes and lend her vast experience of women's wrestling to a project she enjoyed. Kim wasn't bitter over Chavo being chosen though, even going on to tell Waltman she was happy a good friend got the job.
