10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Dec 24)
8. Enzo Amore And 'Big Cass' Are The New Day's Favourite NXT Tag-Team
The New Day are one of the most consistently entertaining acts on WWE television at the moment. Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston have carved a niche for themselves and are deserved WWE Tag-Team Champions. So entertaining are New Day that many fans have even started chanting, 'New Day Rocks' instead of the typical 'New Day Sucks' refrain. The group are keeping their eyes open for potential acts they could work well with in the future. Big E has named Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady as the one New Day are most interested in. The Italian-American gimmick favoured by Amore and 'Big Cass' is wildly over with fans in NXT, and Big E says The New Day count the duo as their favourites in the developmental brand. Speaking with MLive.com to promote upcoming WWE events, Big E said he hopes to one day work opposite the team, because he feels they could produce great things together. It's hard to argue that Amore and Cassady are an exciting prospect, and matches pitting them against The New Day would certainly shake up the tag-team division in the company. This also proves that New Day are paying attention to what's up and coming in WWE's system.
