7. Perry Saturn & Chris Jericho Defied WCW Orders In 1999

Come the Spring months of 1999, Chris Jericho already wanted out of WCW. In one of his autobiographies, Y2J writes about growing frustrated at the company even before this. Realising that he had to get out of WCW to further his career, Jericho still enjoyed working with guys like Perry Saturn.

At the Uncensored pay-per-view in March of '99, Jericho and Saturn worked a Dog Collar Match. Linked via chain around the neck, the pair had battled months before at Souled Out. The loser would be forced to wear a dress, explaining why Saturn's gimmick was tweaked to almost be a transvestite after he lost.

Arriving at Uncensored, Perry met with Kevin Nash. Eric Bischoff, who had wanted Jericho off screen before the pay-per-view, was away hunting and not in attendance. Due to this, Nash said that Saturn and his Canadian peer could do what they wanted. This was a story told by Saturn on Y2J's Talk Is Jericho podcast.

Directly going against Bischoff's directive, Jericho and Saturn wrestled a 12-minute brawl. This just further highlights the disorganisation rife in WCW at the time.
