In 1999, The Big Boss Man would have some of the worst matches on WWF pay-per-view. At WrestleMania XV, he faced The Undertaker in an infamously rotten Hell In A Cell bout. That December, he also fell to The Big Show in around 3 minutes at Armageddon. Sandwiched in between was the barmy Kennel From Hell debacle at Unforgiven in September.

Envisioned as something special by Vince Russo, attack dogs were set to be trained and used as a crucial hook to the match. Unfortunately for Al Snow and Boss Man, the dogs weren't trained properly, if at all. This led to the unintentionally hilarious visual of them getting frisky and crapping all over the place at ringside.

That did little to add to the menacing atmosphere of the match, and Snow told The Hannibal TV that Vince McMahon apologised to him afterwards for the poor planning. At that point in time, there were likely communication problems between McMahon and Russo, who would shortly leave the company for WCW.

According to Al, McMahon was less-than-thrilled with the match and said sorry to the wrestlers for what had happened.
