10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (June 5)
7. Fans Force Lana To Delete Old Twitter Message
When Twitter made every single tweet from a person's account history available for public viewing late last year, there were some embarrassed faces peering out from behind the keyboard. It's fair to assume that pretty much everybody in the history of the social media platform has sent something out publicly that they've later regretted, and pro wrestling personalities are no different from anyone else. Some determined (or nosy, depending on your point of view) soul decided to trawl through WWE Diva Lana's account, finding an interesting message from 2010 which left the 'Ravishing Russian' with a little bit of a blush on her face. Generally speaking, WWE expect their talent to use social media responsibly, so Lana was likely a bit shocked to see her old tweet - which referred to a fellow user as "retarded" - hit the news. Looking at the situation objectively, Lana was not a WWE employee when she sent out the message, and it's highly likely she had forgotten all about it. That's the danger with social media, all that information is out there and can be tapped into at any given moment. The tweet has since been deleted, unsurprisingly!
