10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (March 16)

1. WWE Replaced Ronda Rousey & Brock Lesnar With Snickers Bars

Neither Ronda Rousey or Brock Lesnar showed up as advertised for this past Monday's edition of Raw.

In Lesnar's case, his no-show was part of the Roman Reigns suspension storyline. As for Ronda, WWE neglected to give a satisfactory reason. Later, it was revealed that a mix-up in scheduling had led to WWE mistakenly advertising Rousey for an appearance. Their solution? Hand out free chocolate bars.

We're not kidding. On Twitter, several fans posted pictures of the Snickers treats they were handed as an apology for Lesnar and Rousey failing to show as planned. One fan even joked that upset ticket holders had paid a huge amount of money for a handful of mini-snacks instead of seeing two megastars live.

As much as it's admirable WWE tried to do something to placate people, they could have thought about an attraction (literally anything) a bit bigger than handing out some free chocolate. Surely they knew in advance that neither would be there.
