There will be those agreeing with Corey Graves that booking Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles isn't the best use of Styles, but the fact remains that this is another lofty spot for AJ at WrestleMania; if there's anyone who can bring a good match out of Shane, it's a super-worker like Styles, so match quality shouldn't be a worry.

Being considered the kind of performer who has to carry opponents in the ring is something AJ wanted to address during his recent appearance on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast.

Expressing his disbelief over fan claims that he carried Roman Reigns to stellar matches at Payback and Extreme Rules last year, the former WWE Champion was also quick to praise Reigns for the success of both pay-per-view bouts.

In AJ's mind, it was more about putting trust in Roman to play his part, and the ex-TNA man left the Payback match thinking Reigns is a lot better than many give him credit for; by the time the next match came along at Extreme Rules, a relaxed Styles knew he was going to steal the show with his much-maligned peer.
