Anyone who has watched WWE programming for a few years will be familiar with the pattern company announcers regularly take. Should the main anchor (for example, Michael Cole) ask his co-commentators for an opinion on something, it's usual for both to disagree with one another and give differing viewpoints.

The basic premise behind this approach is that things will be left open and unpredictable if those narrating the action can't give a unified answer. It's very uncommon to take the route Corey Graves did on the new 'Bring It To The Table' show on the WWE Network.

Rather than towing the party line and gushing with praise over the match between Shane McMahon and AJ Styles, the puzzled Corey actually gave his honest opinion.

Pressed on the upcoming scrap between authority figure and full-time wrestler at WrestleMania, Graves contrasted JBL's empty praise for the showdown by outright saying he doesn't think it's the right combination of workers for 'Mania magic.

Citing McMahon's big-bumping style and AJ's workhorse mentality as an awkward combo, the Raw announcer also claimed that the match does nothing for him personally and questioned whether or not Shane would be able to keep up with Styles.
