10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Nov 6)

3. Vince McMahon Refused To Up Scott Hall's Merchandise Payments

In the early-1990's, Scott Hall crash-landed on WWF television as 'The Bad Guy' Razor Ramon. The character was undeniably cool, and would earn Hall a lot of money. Unfortunately for him, a lot of the money he should have made was swallowed up by Vince McMahon's never-ceasing juggernaut machine. During the trailer for his recent shoot interview with Kayfabe Commentaries, Hall assesses that he regularly discussed the idea of being paid more for his merchandise than the WWF were offering. Routinely, Vince McMahon would tell the wrestler that he was being paid the same rates as big stars such as The Undertaker, Bret Hart and others for his merchandise sales. It seems that Hall didn't see things that way, because he was the one shifting the gear to fans via his popularity on-screen. Nonetheless, despite the wrestler's grumblings, McMahon refused to budge. Many wrestlers over the years have said that Vince has a very biased view on this kind of thing. Hall's words seem to confirm that, and he obviously feels he was due more for high sales of his Razor Ramon merchandise during his WWF run from 1992-1996.
