The striking promo style of Randy Savage made him one of the most captivating talkers in WWE history. Rarely standing still, Randy often wouldn't make much sense either. The beauty of his rambling promos didn't come from logic, it came via delivery, but Savage himself thought for sure that he sucked at them.

During an interview with Wrestling Inc, Lanny Poffo stated that the legendary 'Macho Man' would become increasingly anxious before shooting promos earlier in his career. Often, Lanny would have to calm his brother down and reassure Randy that he was good at them. Savage disagreed, and he regularly suffered from panic attacks as a result of the pressure.

Aiding Randy with his promos was a big moment for Lanny personally. His brother had never asked him for help with anything, so it meant the world that he was able to put a family member at ease. Even sweeter was being able to help his sibling overcome the anxiety.
