10 Wrestling-Inspired Movies That Would Be Better Ideas Than 'Crossface'

3. Ric Flair: Stylin' And Profilin'

Frequently regarded as the greatest professional wrestler of all time and the industry's most decorated world champion, 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair has certainly lived an interesting life. While he may have held on to his former glories for at least a decade and a half too long, Flair's is the kind of story most Hollywood biopics can only dream of.

Flair was adopted as a baby, dropped out of college, entered the wrestling business and survived a plane crash that took the life of the pilot, paralysed a passenger and broke his back in three places. Doctors told him he would never wrestle again; he was back in action eight months later. That all of this happened before his 27th birthday makes you understand why Flair's incident-filled life would translate well to the big screen.

The self-styled 'limousine-ridin', jet-flyin', kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin', son-of-a-gun' also lived his gimmick a little too vicariously, resulting in four divorces, arrest warrants, lawsuits, bankruptcy, four 'Ric Flair Days' across the country, the key to six cities and a robe in the National Museum of American History. The only real issue with turning the life of Ric Flair into a movie is that it would probably need to be about six hours long, given how much 'The Nature Boy' has packed into his 67 years so far.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
