Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack...

Whoever it was coming out, the one guarantee was Mick Foley getting mauled. Regardless of him winning, losing or drawing, Foley was infamous throughout his career for the knocks he was prepared to take from match to match. From taking a powerbomb on concrete (numbing half his body for a short spell) to falling off that cell in Pittsburgh (taking off goodness knows how many years of his life span), Foley was fearless in the pursuit of wowing fans.

In among all the barbed wire and steel chairs and drawing pins was Foley’s face donning a crimson mask. It didn’t stop there with Foley either, he would often blade his arms too, grimly scarring his skin to sell the brutal brawls he put on.

No article on Foley’s wounds would be complete without a mention of that long lost ear of his. Not only did he lose an ear to the ring, he blew off the cosmetic surgery to work a match. Yep, he resembles that poor cop from Reservoir Dogs to this day.
