10 Wrestling Matches Too Horrible For WWE To Air

5. Mayhem In Manchester

The Undertaker Kane Mayhem In Manchester
WWE

When: 4 April 1998.

What Happened: Yes, the entire card.

Mayhem In Manchester was supposed to be one of those old UK-exclusive pay-per-views like Rebellion or One Night Only. Instead, the WWF released the event in highlights form on VHS - they even had Michael Cole run some voiceover work (to explain what was going on) in lieu of live commentary.

Being fair, matches like Jeff Jarrett vs. Brakkus were likely best left off-camera.

Seriously though, the show was a bit of a nightmare for the fed. The Undertaker's bags got lost at the airport, so he had to wrestle Kane in...anything he could find. This acted as a neat precursor to his biker look, at least. Not even that Easter egg could save Mayhem from the cutting room floor.

The show just wasn't up to snuff (the camera quality was awful), and the WWF elected to pretend post-event that highlights had been the plan all along. It is, however, worth noting that this was the final company broadcast to feature the old 'New Generation' logo.
