4. Luke Gallows & Mr. Anderson Vs. The Nasty Boys (Legends Of Wrestling, June 7)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AkisAexAZs Last June's Legends of Wrestling event at New York's CitiField was a colossal failure on a number of levels, most notably a business one - the convention/show organizers booked names ranging from Bret Hart to Ric Flair to Goldberg, but only a few thousand fans showed up to watch the matches at the baseball stadium. The card itself was a bizarre mishmash of stars and unknowns from yesterday and today, and that was reflected in the sheer oddness of the matches - none of which seemed more out of place than the bout pitting Luke Gallows (formerly WWE's Festus) and Mr. (Kennedy) Anderson against The Nasty Boys. Things started with Ric Flair cutting a promo for the crowd, but he was interrupted by Gallows and Anderson, reprising their old Aces and Eights gimmick. The Nasty Boys ran in for the save, leading to a hardcore tag match that was described, in equally-terrifying reports, as both "stiff" and "the match of the night". The Nasty Boys picked up the win with some help from Demolition. Because it's 1991.
