As you watch the utter mad man that is Bad Bunny getting Falcon Arrow'd through a table, it's easy to forget that this isn't a person who has spent their life training to put their body through hell for your entertainment.
This is a Grammy Award-winning global music megastar. Albeit one who adores the world of pro-wrestling and puts his heart and soul into every one of his increasingly epic performances.
But the reality of smashing through tables in front of a near-18,000 hometown Backlash crowd definitely set in for Bunny himself once his dramatic battle with Damian Priest reached its end.
In a chat with Zane Lowe on New Music Daily (via Fightful) Bunny actually admitted to thinking he was "going to die" in the wake of that brutal, show-stealing contest. And he'd also note that he very much hurt his back (and whole body) during the pulsating battle, with that injury most likely coming during the aforementioned crazy table crash.
And while it's still always going to be a joy to sit back and take in Bunny's fearless exploits on this night, the knowledge of just how much of a toll this 25-minute thrill-ride took on his body definitely changes the way you view the captivating action on a rewatch.
