10 Wrestling Moments That Should Have Been Huge (But Weren't)

Damien Sandow earned a reputation in WWE as a performer capable of getting just about anything over, with his role as The Miz' stunt double undoubtedly the crowning achievement of a undeservedly disappointing stint with the organisation. It was perhaps telling that the gimmick allegedly only came to be when Sandow improvised the copycat concept after weeks of aping various other performers as a figure of fun rather than Miz' mirror man.

Exemplary as always, The Miz was perfectly cast as a bully heel to his doppelgänger after WWE unexpectedly squeezed a tag team title run out of the pairing.

Unfortunately, the company appeared to completely lose interest right as fans feverishly salivated for a proper payoff. The duo were signed to compete in WrestleMania 31's pre-show Andre The Giant Battle Royal, with the crowd begging for Mizdow to fight back against his oppressor. He did just that, eliminating Miz in somewhat anticlimactic fashion, before failing to see through his victorious dream at the hands of The Big Show.
