10 Wrestling Movies That Should Be Made

8. TNA's Comedy Of Errors

TNA’s storied 13-year history is so full of incompetence that it can only be given the big screen treatment as a farcical comedy. It’s a miracle the company haven’t gone out of business yet, such is their propensity to shoot themselves in the foot, and the studio certainly wouldn’t be short of material to cover.

From on-air disasters like Victory Road 2011 and Claire Lynch to Vince Russo’s secret return, Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan, and other backstage gaffes, the film would be one long stream of grand disasters. The company’s story is a true comedy of errors, and with their best years well behind them, it’d be hard not to portray the likes of Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett as bumbling buffoons. There’s little chance of the subjects ever consenting to such a film being made, of course, but it’d be a fun tale nonetheless.

TNA’s cockroach-esque survival skills would be a recurring theme throughout, and help paint the protagonists as the luckiest businessmen and women alive. Few companies have ever demonstrated such long-term ineptitude without going out of business, and with characters like Carter, Russo, and Hogan doing the rounds, it’d be stuffed with over-the-top personalities.
