10 Wrestling Reboots More Famous Than The Original
4. Hulk Hogan (Superstar Billy Graham)
Hulk Hogan would probably hate being referred to as a "reboot", but then he didn't make much effort to hide his admiration for Superstar Billy Graham. They had the same bright blonde facial hair and everything.
Not just that, but Graham is credited for introducing to the 1970s wrestling business a bold new style of delivering pre- and post-match interviews. It was thanks to him that the word "brother" became a ubiquitous part of the in-ring promo, for instance.
Making his debut later the same decade, Hogan went on to achieve success his predecessor - a WWF champion himself - could only dream about. He's now so much of a household name that his private indiscretions become international news stories.
And, in the Hulkster's defence, probably only a small part of that owes to his "stealing" another man's act. Slamming Andre at WrestleMania III, pulling off wrestling's greatest-ever heel turn; these are accomplishments that you can't put down to luck alone.
