10 Wrestling Tag Teams That Got The WORST Gimmicks After Splitting

1. The Natural Disasters

Ladies and gents, your main event.

No team split and both went on to play worse gimmicks than The Natural Disasters. Earthquake and Typhoon would never recreate their time together - hell, the latter wouldn't even come close to touching his Tugboat character pre-Disasters either. As usual, WCW were to blame.

Once both had left the WWF, 'Quake and 'Phoon became a human being who thought he was a shark and a wall-crashing guy in a sparkly storm trooper's helmet respectively. Shark was a dreadful gimmick, but The Shockmaster has become one of the most infamous characters in pro wrestling history for all the wrong reasons.

This is a shame, because WCW could've done worse than reuniting The Natural Disasters and giving them new names like 'Eruption', 'Storm', 'Tornado' or 'Flood'. Even calling them 'Adverse Weather Events' might've been better than bloody Shark and Shockmaster.
