It will certainly be better than 2020, that's for sure!
This one is written with a heavy heart, as losing a tag team as great as the Street Profits would be another death knell in the already dying tag division of WWE. There are certainly still legs in the act, who only have had a few title reigns under their belts.
But there is an undeniable energy to Montez Ford. It is similar to the same energy that surrounded Jeff Hardy when he was in the Hardy Boyz and synonymous with the tag team division. Fans were clamouring for him to break out and eventually, when he did, he became one of the biggest babyfaces in recent memory.
We're not suggesting the same will happen for Ford, but he certainly has the skills between the ropes, along with a naturally cool charisma that the fans love. Besides, his leap for his Frog Splash is just tailor-made for a big championship win.
Hopefully, the Street Profits can still be associated with each other ala The New Day, but with his stock rising with every week, seeing Ford nab an IC Title reign in 2022 isn't the most outlandish idea.
Just don't throw any more bowling balls into his nads, eh?
