10 WWE Elimination Chamber Records That May Never Be Broken
9. Jericho’s Ten Eliminations
Just this past week, Chris Jericho made his own piece of history when he lasted 61 minutes in the Royal Rumble, taking his tally for total time spent in the match to an unparalleled 4:56:59.
But it’s not just the
Rumble match in which Jericho has posted an all-time high - he also holds the
record for the most eliminations in Chamber matches.
Jericho is the only man to have reached double figures and amassed 10 eliminations inside the structure. His list of scalps looks like a who's who of Hall of Fame talent, including the likes of Booker T, Kane, Kevin Nash, Edge, JBL, Umaga, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, the Undertaker and Mike Knox. One or two names permitting, of course.
His closest rivals for the elimination record are Triple H, with seven, and the Undertaker, with six - but crucially, neither of them are likely to enter the Chamber ever again. Even Cena only has four to his name, suggesting that Jericho’s record could remain untouched for quite some time yet.
