5. Potentially Getting Infected By Pig Crap

It's important to point out that this wasn't a punishment for the 'Curtain Call' incident at Madison Square Garden. People sometimes get their timings messed up when claiming it is; the 'Curtain Call' took place on 19 May 1996, but In Your House 5 took place before that on 17 December 1995. So, in other words, the WWF didn't view this as a means to punish Triple H for his part in that send off for Razor Ramon and Diesel with Shawn Michaels.

This was just a way to exploit his sneering upper class character by bringing it down a peg or 2. Hunter might've needed a peg for his nose on the night. He'd also surely have needed to see a doctor for some shots, because Mr. Helmsley flirted with disaster in mid-December '95. This wasn't quite the innocent comedy match it was presented as.

At IYH 5, Triple H worked an 'Arkansas Hog Pen Match' with Henry Godwinn. At one stage during the bout, Trips suffered a huge gash on his back, and he was visibly bleeding from it by the time he rolled around in pig s*** for a 'ha ha' spot later on. That was risky, and it could’ve had severe consequences for him had docs not been on hand to clean him up.

Let's be real: Rubbing actual pig poop into an open wound is not a champion idea. Hunter could've infected that wound rather easily. He's pretty lucky nothing bad came of this and he was able to get straight back to work on the road. The only explanation for this is that Trips didn't know he was wounded.

Surely he wouldn't have kept rolling around in crap if he did.
