10 WWE Gimmicks Sinking Faster Than The Titanic

3. Adam Rose As A Pompous Artiste

Going from cult leader to arrogant artist, Adam Rose is floundering badly. Vince McMahon was supposedly none too happy about the man's recent tweets about returning to his Leo Kruger NXT gimmick either, because that wasn't what the company had in mind for him. There were also rumours that Rose was about to join The Wyatt Family, but that hasn't come to pass. The tag-team of 'Beef Mode' with Brad Maddox is a confusing one. Following the end of the whole 'Rosebuds' cult experiment, Rose was ripe for alteration. Instead, he's simply taken a step sideways, and formed what will surely be a rarely-featured unit with another long-forgotten WWE star. Needless to say, the creative team really dropped the ball with Adam Rose. The 'pompous artiste' guise they currently have him running with will likely be short-lived. It's difficult to see where the promotion then go with Rose, because they don't seem to know what to do with him. As a result, the usual WWE formula of placing someone in a tag-team when there's nothing else for them has occurred once again.
