10 WWE Hell In A Cell 2019 Impulse Reactions

1. Seth Rollins (c) Vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt

Whew.

On Seth Rollins before covering every other f*cking thing that happened here, because there feels a need to separate him from this utter sh*tshow.

Within the body of this match, Rollins completely and utterly sacrificed his entire moveset. The (already-diluted) Stomp, the super-powered Pedigree and even his Brock-besting and Shield-smashing chair work - it was all donated to highlighting how nothing could stop the most evil incarnation of Bray Wyatt.

Unfortunately for the Universal Champion, he was stuck trying to sell the imagination of the most evil incarnation of Vince McMahon.

Hideously over-thought because the company were so determined to rush The Fiend into this position in the first place, the Hell In A Cell main event was bad enough to erase one of the most joyous weeks in company history quicker than it took Wyatt to rebound from taking chair, ladder, toolbox and sledgehammer shots to the head after a Cell main event was thrown out for the second year in a row.

Initially a rather unique little tail of Rollins playing horror movie victim at the hands of the indestructible threat in front of him, this 17:30 gradually fell apart under the weight of the very reasonable expectation that the most over character in the company was about to be rewarded in kind.

Instead, the thin ice upon which Wyatt has tacitly tip-toed along since returning after WrestleMania was smashed with a sledgehammer. In he fell, along with the hearts of the fanbase.
