10 WWE Legends Embarrassed By Their Own Matches

6. Jeff Hardy (TNA Victory Road 2011)

As bad as some of Flair's TNA matches were, one of Jeff Hardy's was worse.

Sting can't take any blame for that. He had aged, no doubt, but he could still go in 2011 and was likely looking forward to testing himself against a bump machine like Hardy. The only problem was that Jeff showed up in a miserable state, was clearly under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and should never have been pushed through the curtain.

There, live on pay-per-view at Victory Road 2011, Jeff Hardy had the most shameful of nights. Sting looked p*ssed off at his peer for ruining any chances of a main event classic the company could be proud of, and Hardy later admitted that he'd made a total arse of things against a childhood hero.

Though he was in an awful place personally, Jeff accepts full responsibility for causing Sting such heartache, wasting everyone's time and money on pay-per-view and turning up to work in no condition to perform as expected.
