10 WWE Main Roster Wrestlers Who Were WORSE In NXT
6. Mandy Rose
Mandy Rose entered Tough Enough VI with a background in bodybuilding and fitness. She finished WWE’s reality show as a runner-up but still signed a five-year deal with the company.
Her time in NXT was spent honing her wrestling skills on the house show circuit, along with a few dark matches at Full Sail. She only competed on NXT TV twice, losing on both occasions.
Rose debuted on the main roster with fanfare alongside Paige and Sonya Deville as the dominant Absolution, taking the fight to Raw’s women's division. This booking led to the announcement of the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match.
While Absolution didn’t live up to their promised dominance, losing Paige in early 2018, Rose and Deville stayed together as the popular tag team Fire & Desire.
Mandy excelled in the entertainment aspect of the wrestling business, noticeable first in her feud with Naomi over the affections of her opponent’s husband. When she was trusted with a long-term romance storyline with Otis, she spearheaded the successful midcard plot.
Rose continues to straddle the line between being booked for her beauty and genuine displays of improving athleticism. Her current team with Dana Brooke holds the same promise as her previous duo with Deville.
