10 WWE NXT Main Roster Call-Ups That Must Happen In 2019

5. Ricochet

The ingenious decision to make Ricochet's first three TakeOver matches all about having to prove just how awesome he was before a War Games II grand showcase was all 'The One And Only' really needed from his time on NXT.

A flashy entrance and (slightly) upgraded presentation has smoothed out some edges in his act, but most of Ricochet's talking is still done in the ring as fans and opponents alike are left frozen in jaw-dropped shock at his latest athletic exploits. Him being ripped to shreds doesn't hurt either, particularly if he doesn't want his latest revolutionary highspot to end up in the 205 Live credit sequence.

Ultimately, the 'Future Of Flight's main roster career is as much to do with Triple H's sell of him to "nnnnnDad-uh" than it is what he's capable of between (and off of) the ropes. 'The Game' needs to present Trevor as more than just a Mann, particularly with so many other aerial athletes vying for Vince McMahon's notoriously fleeting attentions.

McMahon once told AJ Styles he had plenty of other guys "just like him" before 'The Phenomenal One' proved him wrong. The key to Ricochet's successful promotion is in allowing him to do exactly the same.
