Bianca Belair will get her first shot at the NXT Women's Championship at January 2019's TakeOver: Phoenix, and may well be the next in line for the throne currently occupied by the magnificent 'Queen Of Spades' Shayna Baszler, but should this be a case of winner stays on/loser goes up?

Belair's undefeated streak throughout the summer of 2018 helped cast her as the division's most prominent threat and a leading candidate to topple the dangerous Baszler, but the recent involvement of 'Horsewomen' comrades Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke in Shayna's outings has given new life to what was becoming something of a one-note gimmick.

Whilst losing in her first crack at the Championship isn't a great look, there's something to be said for her leaving the brand before she manages to beat Baszler. TakeOver matches are rarely thrown out, but countless run-ins to set up a WrestleMania weekend spectacle between The Horsewomen and NXT's best babyfaces could at least produce a convincing screwy finish that protects both parties.

This fire escape from a division she partially looks too big a star for could be the sly fire escape needed to tacitly elevate Belair to the next level. There's ample room on either Raw or SmackDown for somebody of her ferocious and precocious talent.
