From 1998-2009, Judgment Day existed in WWE parlance. The event was missing from the 1999 pay-per-view lineup, because the '98 version was part of the 'In Your House' series. It flows right back to the hottest period of the 'Attitude' Era, and became a beloved event in 2000 when The Undertaker made his return as a biker character. Fans know what Judgment Day is all about, and it'd be an entirely fitting title for the ongoing storylines. It works both ways too, which makes it an even better choice. If Shane McMahon were to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania, he could claim that the May 1 show would be time for Vince, Stephanie and Triple H to be judged as The Authority. Similarly, if 'Taker wins, Vince could claim that Shane's 'Judgment Day' will be upon him, with his future being decided at the show. Much like many others on this list, there's a nice ring to Judgment Day. It sounds bad-ass, dripping in that foreboding undertone that many events of the late-1990's and early-2000's had. It could also signal a change in WWE, which many feel is long overdue, whilst still fitting into the angle between Shane and the rest of the McMahon clan.
