10 WWE Salaries You Won't Believe
3. The Undertaker ~ $1.5 Million
The Undertaker occupies the same category as Sting in that he's a legendary grappler earning huge bucks for limited appearances on the basis of his almost unparalleled drawing power. Unlike Sting, his contributions are entirely constricted to the ring, the mystique of his character being preserved for as long as possible before his eventual retirement. Also, he wears a hat.
Whilst a mammoth $1.5 million might seem extortionate given 'Taker's light itinerary, the Deadman was positively overworked in 2015 compared to recent years. Aside from his customary WrestleMania cameo, Death Valley's favourite biker was on hand for a punishing set of matches against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and Hell in the Cell, before reuniting with storyline bro' Kane to face off against the Wyatts at Survivor Series for no apparent reason.
The fact SummerSlam was sold on the strength of The Undertaker's return against Lesnar alone shows just how valuable he still is to the company - and why he earned every penny of his seven-figure fee.
