10 WWE Stars In Desperate Need Of A Turn
1. Finn Balor
What is 'the Demon' missing?
Balor has contested several awesome matches since his arrival in NXT, but he has dominated it in kayfabe only. Since wresting the NXT strap away from Kevin Owens in Japan, he hasn't taken home Match Of The Night honours at any of his subsequent TakeOver title defences or challengers.
A heel turn might be the answer. WWE have been rather too full-on in their handling of Balor so far; while his character arc has never reached Cena levels of eye-rolling inevitability, it's been a little too apparent from the start that he was groomed for the role of NXT kingpin.
Perhaps the obviousness of his trajectory, as opposed to the more organic path taken by the likes of Sami Zayn and Bayley, is what can be attributed to the strange phenomenon of a seasoned New Japan vet being consistently upstaged by the likes of Sasha Banks.
That's not a slight on Banks at all, but you'd have expected Balor to have cakewalked to countless Match Of The Year candidates - and he's not been able to even outshine talents who've barely travelled outside of the U.S.
An attitude adjustment might be necessary - it was his pioneering work in the Bullet Club with which he truly created his must-see buzz, after all.
