10 WWE Stars To Take Seth Rollins' Place In The Authority

10. John Cena

There are a very long list of very well-known reasons why John Cena will never turn heel, however, if you'll indulge me for a second, surely there's a chance this will happen before his career comes to an end? If not, the WWE will have robbed fans of the one thing they've been desperate to see for years. Of course, with ratings currently struggling, Vince McMahon may want to make this a reality sooner rather than later. After all, no matter how much positive press the success of WrestleMania 31 or NXT may get the company, they desperately need something to reignite interest in the largely stale PG product. A John Cena heel turn would go some way it achieving that; fan-favourites like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock turning heel certainly did good business, and you have to imagine the same would happen here. Cena has been a thorn in the side of The Authority for a while now, but they've pretty much acknowledged the fact that they can't fire the guy because he really is the face that runs the place. Cena making his return to create some sort of unholy alliance with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon could definitely work on a story level (why wouldn't they throw their lot in together for ultimate power?), especially if the leader of the Cenation was promised the sixteenth world title run he was robbed of at SummerSlam. That's something which, in the eyes of a heel Cena, would cement his legacy as the greatest of all-time. Stranger things have happened...
