6. Sheamus
With the WWE World Heavyweight Championship now vacant, logic dictates that Sheamus should cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase and be handed the belt on this Monday's Raw. However, the fact that it's pre-taped and his terrible place on the card as the tag team partner of King Barrett go some way in making this one unlikely. Regardless, The Celtic Warrior should cash-in soon, and when he does, that should lead to him joining The Authority. Given the right opponent and a grand enough stage, Sheamus is capable of doing great things, so why not put him at the top of the card for the next few months? I was recently lucky enough to see Shemaus take on Finn Balor,
and it was downright awesome. The reason I mention that is because it's restored much of my faith in him and the potential he has to be a great champion, even if it's a title reign unlikely to last until next year's WrestleMania. With Rollins gone though, Sheamus is more than capable of taking his spot until next year Mania main event is settled on. Since his return earlier this year, the WWE has really failed to take advantage of Sheamus' new persona, so making him The Authority's go to guy to take whoever stands in their way down with a Brogue Kick would really help him in the long run. If this were to happen though, pitting the Irish Superstar against fresh opponents like Brock Lesnar and, hell, maybe even Kevin Owens, would be a must (no more Cena!).
