4. Brock Lesnar
Within four months of debuting, Lesnar had dominated the Hardys in multiple handicap matches, crushed Hulkamania, and defeated the Rock to become the youngest-ever WWE Champion. However, up until that point, Lesnar hadnt experienced a lengthy feud with a major legend. Rocky was a masterful entertainer but not the best wrestler, while Hogan couldnt provide any real competition for Lesnar. As a result, WWE decided to put Lesnar against the Undertaker. From Unforgiven 2002 until No Mercy 2003, Lesnar and Undertaker faced off several times. As the companys most significant legend, Undertaker added even more credibility to every match he had with Lesnar, making his matches with the rookie far more important. Undertaker rarely won in these contests; during their initial rivalry, Brock defeated the Undertaker at every PPV encounter they had, while Taker only won on television. These high-profile wins for Lesnar launched him even further up WWEs ladder, which made his sudden departure even more crippling for WWE. Then, theres their renewed rivalry in 2014-15. Undertaker was willing to put aside his most treasured accomplishment for the sake of amplifying Lesnars credibility further. In defeating the Undertaker at WrestleMania, Lesnar has undoubtedly guaranteed himself a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, while Undertakers reputation for helping other wrestlers become stars proves itself true once again.
