10 WWE Stars Who Are In Desperate Need Of A Charecter Makeover

9. Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal is a solid in-ring talent who might be worthy of a major push like the one he is currently receiving. That being said, he has been strapped with a pretty stale gimmick.

We have seen the foreign invader act too many times now. We get it; he’s anti-American like pretty much every wrestler who doesn’t hail from the United States has been at one point or another.

Perhaps WWE could give the character some depth and at least give a concrete explanation or detailed back story as to why he hates the U.S. and Americans.

The other problem with Mahal is that he was pushed far too quickly. This is a guy who fans saw lose almost every match he competed in for years. He wins a number one contender's match out of nowhere and now fans are supposed to view him as a main event star? He could have at least won The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle at WrestleMania to give him some momentum before being named number one contender.

If WWE doesn’t find a way to at least tell a fresh story using this tired gimmick, Mahal will go back to being a midcard act once his title reign ends.
