10 WWE Stars Who Can’t Be Happy Right Now

5. Rusev

At least Dolph got a couple of World Title runs before he slid down the pecking order. Poor Rusev didn't even get that, and the Bulgarian has been forced to put up with frankly crap creative team decisions since 2015. On SmackDown, he once again finds himself split from Lana and in no-man's land, struggling to find direction and nowhere near the top stories.

After losing to Randy Orton in a depressing 10 seconds at SummerSlam, the once-proud top heel has been reduced to a bit-part player on Tuesdays. Wasn't the entire point of moving him from Raw to SmackDown in the first place about progression? Why is Rusev doing absolutely nothing on the show when he's quite clearly talented?

Last year, Jinder Mahal was Rusev's occasional tag-team partner and came across like his heavy. Now, Mahal is WWE Champ and the previous star of that pairing doesn't even have a feud to work. It's baffling that WWE won't promote Rusev properly. He has a good body, can work against all sizes and can even do comedy when asked.
