10 WWE Stars Who Can’t Be Happy Right Now
4. Big Cass
On the injured list nursing a torn ACL, Big Cass will be plotting his return to action for at least the next nine months or so. Suffering the painful injury during a grudge match against ex-partner Enzo Amore in late-August, Cass was having trouble convincing fans of his new heel character long before then. If anything, the injury gives him time to refocus.
It can't sit well with the big man that he was flopping on his own so quickly. Fans barely reacted to his match with Big Show at SummerSlam, and he never once looked confident on the microphone. Even the first entrance music WWE handed him sounded like something straight off the Create-A-Superstar list in one of 2K's video games.
Cass shouldn't be happy with how his heel run was going. His task over the next few months will be coming up with something new to help him succeed when he does return. Compare Cass to Braun Strowman and it's like night and day, but both are expected to be monster heels.
One has already figured it out. The other needs to, otherwise his next stab at playing heel will be as poor as his first.
