2. Mark Henry

Imagine how awesome it would have been for Mark Henry to wreck the competition, climb a ladder and retrieve a briefcase that guaranteed the curator of the Hall of Pain a championship opportunity he deemed fit. Then imagine him stalking after popular babyfaces like John Cena, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy or Triple H with the briefcase, constantly reminding them that he was around but never really stepping up to cash in.

Then, when they least expect it, stunning the wrestling world by cashing in against a hated heel in one of the great karma-filled moments in WWE history.

Not only does the perennial butt-kicker instantly become a hero, perhaps even a tweener if necessary, fans also have a memorable story that came out of the annual ladder match. Whether it turned out to be a heel he cashed in on or a popular hero, the effect would be the same: a compelling angle that added to the legacy of the contest itself.

That storyline would have worked as well in 2012 as it would now. With Henry's days in the ring numbered, the industry evolving around him, one last run that demonstrates just how effective a character he can still be would serve as the best sendoff.

After all, who would not want to see Henry torment Reigns for weeks before cashing in on his beaten, pummelled corpse.

Imagine THAT pop.
