10 WWE Stars You Totally Don’t Remember Appearing At WrestleMania
5. Andrea Lynn
Before WWE looked in-house for a dance partner for flavour-of-the-week sensation Fandango, they rather logically turned to a Buffalo, New York dance studio instead.
Then only 20-years-old and studying at the University of Buffalo, Andrea Lynn was chosen to join the reinvented Johnny Curtis as his dance partner during the elaborate ballroom entrances before his match.
With no prior involvement in wrestling, her act beyond the opening waltz was severely limited, but she forged a positive working relationship with management enough to join the touring crew with the gimmick rather than force the company to find a new local dancer near each venue.
It was during this time that Fandango was given a huge victory over Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29, giving Lynn the opportunity to perform in front of over 80,000 people at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Lynn would depart the company in early May as NXT star Summer Rae took on the role, but the character had already peaked with the Jericho victory.
